Rachel Brady, Ben Folds

Rachel Brady is an unearthed girl, I’ll put it to you bluntly, who’s song Prodigal Daughter was in the Uneathed podcast (lazy, no need to think it!) I really like it, it’s just… nice.

Ben Folds. Rather famous, among my people at least.
In the early ’80’s, Ben joined the group Majosha, which released several locally produced records.
About 10 years after gettin together, Majosha broke up, in the early 90s then Ben started Pots and Pans which lasted about a month – record!

In 1995, so that’s 13 years ago! He and his band (the Ben Folds Five) released their self titled debut album. 2 years later came Whatever and Ever Amen, which I reckonĀ is probably one of the best Ben Folds Five albums, featuring Brick, Kate, Evaporated, and Song for the Dumped.
After that came Naked Baby Photos, which I know very little about, and a few other albums.

Next one that I know anything about is Songs for Silverman, which features lots of beautiful songs and piano accompaniment. Jesusland, Bastard and Gracie are probably the most widely known songs, and I love ‘em all.
